Compensation Range :

The Finance department ensures the company's leadership team is provided with timely, high quality and accurate financial information and advice regarding actual, forecasted and budgeted results. This information is critical to support business decisions via identification and analysis of key business drivers and evaluation of cost / benefit analysis and business improvement options.

The Senior Financial Analyst provides monthly reporting of financial results for the engineering group, including advice regarding actual, forecast and budgeted results and key performance indicators. The Senior Analyst also assists with strategic planning and coordinating with the broader business. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst recommends and / or makes business and financial data analytic improvements to improve commercial results and to streamline activities.

Primary duties & responsibilities :

• Ensure the monthly reporting of financial results for engineering and provide advice regarding actual, forecast and budgeted results
• Providing support to the VP Engineering and Regional Engineering Management, enabling the achievement of financial goals and identifying opportunities to extract additional value and reduce business complexity
• Deliver continuous improvement in the quality of the management and financial reporting systems and outputs for operations with particular emphasis on improving data integrity and timeliness
• Provide timely and accurate financial statements (compliant to international accounting standards) for an assigned region(s)
• Support the increased safety focus and improved performance for BBNA Engineering and operations
• Improve stewardship of the engineering and operations assets by ensuring adequate controls and adherence to policies and standards
• Ensure adherence to the Delegation of Authority
