Job Description
We are currently seeking a Human Resource Generalist located in Southern Maine. This position will support the Hollis and Poland Maine Factories. The Role will report to the Hollis HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee facing HR Business Partner supporting the Maine Product Supply teams which include Manufacturing, Supply Chain and supporting functions.
- Assisting the Maine HR Managers in developing and executing our people plan.
- Examples include: 10 Operating Principle (People and PMs) Employee feedback programs, leadership assessments and leadership development meetings.
- Provide direction to the bench development process for all team members including performance management, career development and workforce planning.
- Support regional recruiting for front-line, leadership positions that delivers full compliance, strong diversity and effective selection.
- Support associate experience, Onboarding, Day 1 orientation, training effectiveness coaching and HR compliance, I-9.
- Responsible for day to day HR responsibilities including but not limited to supporting, Unemployment, Leaves and employee relations.
Qualifications
Key Qualifications:
- Ability to travel to Hollis or Poland Maine rotating locations each week.
- 3 years' experience in human resources experience in a dynamic HR department.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Strong discernment and HR experience with a demonstrable track record as a HR partner in an operations environment.
- Experience in proactive employee relations, recruitment and staffing.
- Employee relations including fact finding, handling differences and developing win/win solutions is desired.
- Ability to lead though influence in a collaborate environment.
- Demonstrable experience working jointly on business/operational issues.
- Knowledge of state and federal employment law including HR technical knowledge of EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment and worker's compensation.
- Strong communication abilities at multiple levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated organization skills leading to the ability to optimal manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
