What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Administrative Assistant/Receptionist position at Bluewater Behavioral Health?
The medical receptionist/front desk staff will interface with patients in a private mental health clinic in Niceville/Bluewater Bay. It is imperative that the candidate have a professional presentation and be able to handle themselves in a professional manner. The receptionist should be knowledgeable of HIPAA and respectful of patient privacy. The receptionist/healthcare representative is responsible for the following:
Patient scheduling, check-in for in-person and telehealth appointments, assist with taking vitals, checking/taking insurance and co-pays, updating records, and general receptionist duties (Faxing, emailing and returning phone calls). The staff member must be able to work in a team and be a self-starter. The staff must be able to type proficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
