Job Description
The Construction Project Director role at BluSky involves overseeing the estimation, sale, and management of restoration projects. This includes ensuring customer satisfaction, coordinating with internal teams to maintain project budgets and timelines, and driving organizational success.
This position combines business development with project management to restore properties affected by disasters. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in marketing, sales, and large loss or catastrophe experience.
Key responsibilities include meeting or exceeding monthly and yearly sales goals, negotiating and executing contracts on behalf of the company, and selling all services that BluSky offers. The individual will also be responsible for tracking and measuring sales and sales opportunities in the CRM and tracking sheets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sales: Meet or exceed monthly and yearly sales goals, negotiate and execute contracts, sell all services offered
- Revenue: Oversee revenue production, work with project team to ensure timeliness of deposit, progress, and final billings
- Profit Margins: Develop and take ownership of project budget, ensure accuracy and modify as needed
- AR & Collections: Perform weekly collection calls, review A/R aging, monitor lien rights and follow through on assignments
- Manage Near Term Opportunities: Work directly with clients and claims handling teams to close leads, maintain communication and document files
- Business Development Activity: Schedule business development meetings, participate in events to market BluSky, entertain clients as necessary
- Estimating Proficiency: Accurate sketching of affected areas, use of Matterport technology, time and material knowledge
- Customer Satisfaction: Consistent weekly communication, set expectations upfront, hold teams accountable
- Working and coordinating with internal teams: Mitigation, reconstruction, business development, project accountants
