POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Support Services Supervisor, the LST is responsible for providing quality customer oriented laboratory services including specimen procurement, specimen processing and related specialized procedures, and service to effectively communicate information to users of the Laboratory Services in order to ensure the department is able to operate efficiently and to successfully fulfill its mission. LSTs also provide training and guidance to less experienced laboratory support technicians. Position: Lab Support Technician Department: Lab Support Services Schedule: Part Time JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: High School Diploma CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED: Phlebotomy Certification (ASCP) preferred. EXPERIENCE: One year of Phlebotomy, specimen processing experience is preferred. working hours from 10am-8:30pm every Tuesday and Thursday.
