Job Title: Project Coordinator
Reports To: Operations Manager / Project Manager
Job Summary:
The Construction Quality Control Coordinator is integral to the successful execution of construction projects. This role involves overseeing quality control, managing project documentation, facilitating communication between subcontractors, clients, and internal teams, and ensuring that all job requirements are met. The coordinator is responsible for monitoring completed work quality, reviewing related documentation and providing stakeholders with consistent project updates.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control:
o Monitor and ensure that all completed projects comply with project specifications,
quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
o Enforce adherence to quality assurance protocols by both the project team and
subcontractors.
o Collaborate with the Operations Manager to identify, address, and resolve any
quality control concerns.
Documentation Management:
o Ensure all project documentation, including purchase orders, permits, and
invoices (from subcontractors and suppliers), is complete, accurate, and
uploaded into the company’s project management system.
Subcontractor Invoice Management:
o Review, track, and ensure the timely receipt of subcontractor invoices.
o Verify invoice accuracy, address discrepancies, and coordinate with accounting
for prompt processing and payment.
Client Communication & Updates:
o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and
addressing client concerns.
Project Coordination & Issue Resolution:
o Serve as a liaison between field teams, subcontractors, Operations Managers,
and accounting, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of issues.
o Work closely with Operations and Project Managers to resolve project-related
issues, quality control concerns and challenges noted.
Reporting & Billing:
o Coordinate with operations and accounting teams to ensure the timely and
accurate submission of project billing and status reports.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project coordination or quality control
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
