BNL Consulting is actively seeking a Junior Project Manager. As a Junior Project Manager with a focus on documentation review and auditing, you will support BNL Consulting’s project management team in enhancing the quality and consistency of our project documentation. As we continue to expand our portfolio, we’re seeking a detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support our team in ensuring high-quality documentation and compliance through rigorous audit processes.
This position will be hybrid on-site in Athens, GA. This is a part-time position (around 20-30 hours per week). We are only considering applicants who reside in a HUBZone (Please see https://maps.certify.sba.gov/hubzone/map for details and to check your eligibility).
Responsibilities
Documentation Review & Quality Control:
- Conduct detailed reviews of project documentation to ensure completeness, consistency, and compliance with internal standards and industry best practices.
- Track and flag discrepancies, missing information, or inconsistencies within project documentation.
Audit Preparation & Compliance Checks:
- Assist with internal documentation audits, identifying gaps and ensuring documentation adheres to both client and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare checklists, summaries, and reports to support audit readiness and highlight areas needing attention.
Process Improvement & Standardization:
- Collaborate with the project management team to streamline documentation processes, providing feedback on areas for improvement.
- Assist in implementing standardized procedures for documentation across projects.
File Organization & Digital Archiving:
- Support the organization, classification, and archiving of digital project files, ensuring easy access and retrievability.
- Maintain up-to-date records, logs, and indexes of documents for auditing and reporting purposes.
Collaborative Support:
- Work with project managers and cross-functional teams to understand project workflows and document requirements.
- Support the creation of process documentation and guides for future audits.
Qualifications
Education:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Project Management, Business, Information Management, or a related field.
Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, or Trello) is a plus, but not necessary.

- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
