Job Summary:
Join our dynamic production services team as an Application Support Analyst where you will play a crucial role in supporting applications, addressing user queries, and ensuring seamless operations. As part of the team, you will be responsible for monitoring applications, updating batches, conducting root cause analysis, and collaborating with developers to resolve complex issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, define, and implement monitoring and automation solutions.
- Handle day-to-day user queries and support activities for applications and overnight batches.
- Maintain issue logs, knowledge base articles, and documentation.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts during production outages and communicate effectively with management.
- Conduct root cause analysis and problem management to address technical issues.
- Collaborate closely with developers on continuous integration/continuous delivery solutions.
- Perform production readiness reviews for new releases and validate changes before deployment.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java programming including coding and code review.
- Experience working in a support role for an application.
- Ability to debug existing code effectively.
- Experience Level: 3-5 years is ideal.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Familiarity with Splunk tools.
- Knowledge of JIRA for issue tracking.
- Experience with Angular framework.
- Understanding of Oracle databases.
- Exposure to ServiceNow platform.
