Provide support during equipment crisis situations. Provide controls diagnostic training to plant electricians and mechanics. Provide equipment controls design review to ensure application in food processing environment.
Job Description : Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and troubleshoot analog I / O (A-D, 4-20 ma, 0-5v., etc.)
- Perform component replacement and coordinate repairs with mechanical maintenance technicians as necessary
- Review and suggest performance and improvement ideas with Facilities Manager
- Maintain required program backups for critical equipment
- Conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability of critical equipment
- Diagnose and repair controls and control systems (electro-pneumatic and electro-hydraulic systems)
- Provide controls diagnostic training to plant electricians and mechanics
- Continually develop equipment and process expertise
- Maintain and train safe work practices
- Work with Operations associates to ensure proper equipment operation
- Work with Sanitation associates to ensure proper equipment care
- Perform work as assigned by Facilities Manager
