What are the responsibilities and job description for the BJA English GA position at Bob Jones University?
POSITION SUMMARY: The GA will come alongside the four high school English teachers and assist in educational tasks such as tutoring struggling students in the areas of reading, writing, and grammar. GA will also assist teachers in multiple classroom responsibilities such as grading, creating assessments, and other educational activities. This position would be ideal for someone interested in being in the classroom but will also fit someone who enjoys ELA.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Tutoring struggling students in the areas of reading, writing, and grammar
- Grade various assignments such as essays, online assessments, tests, and quizzes
- Create educational activities for students
This 30-hour Academic GA is reserved for graduate students of BJU. This position would begin in August 2025.
