What You'll Do: As a Safety Intern, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that help streamline and enhance our safety operations. You'll get the chance to manage projects from start to finish, collect and analyze data, and provide recommendations to improve the overall safety program. Some key duties include:
- 📋 SDS Consolidation: Gather and organize Safety Data Sheets (SDS) from all divisions, ensure they are up to date, and streamline documentation processes.
- ⚙️ JSA Consolidation: Organize Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) by division and department, eliminate duplicates, and ensure proper storage and accessibility.
- 📂 Safety Document Organization: Assist with organizing, consolidating, and storing various safety documents across the company.
- 🔧 Additional Projects: Take on other safety-related tasks and projects as assigned to improve our overall safety processes.
- 🦺 Experience identifying safety hazards and working with safety documentation
- 🔍 A keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- 📊 Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills
- 💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- 🎓 Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or MBA degree in a related field (Safety, Environmental Health, Business Administration, etc.)
- 📝 Strong writing and presentation skills—ability to create reports, business correspondence, and manuals.
- 📚 Ability to analyze and interpret business documents and technical procedures.
- 💼 Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for data analysis and documentation.
- ➗ A solid understanding of basic math concepts like percentages, ratios, and statistical inference.
