The Role 

BAA is seeking an experienced Key Accounts Manager responsible for driving the growth of our international wholesale business by identifying, acquiring, and onboarding new wholesale accounts. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with new clients, ensuring a smooth transition into our wholesale network, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the wholesale market.   

Key Responsibilities 

• Market Intelligence: analyze state and local market conditions to identify areas of opportunity to increase wholesale customer base 

• Competitor Intelligence: identify tactics and wholesale relationships for national, state and local competitors 

• New Business Acquisition: Identify, target, and acquire new distribution partners to expand the company's market reach and revenue streams across all product categories 

• Wholesale Engagement: establish and build relationships with potential distribution partners by understanding Artists served, product mix, and commercial operating model (i.e., understand how they make money and how we help them grow) 

• Product and Brand Knowledge: understand and communicate company, product and brand value propositions to convert new Wholesale customers 

• Asset Management: Manage digital assets and content to support distributors 

• Sales Tactics: Develop and implement tactics to convert distribution partners, including establish of commercial arrangements (e.g., contract terms, discounts) 

• Collaboration: Drive internal cross-functional collaboration across marketing, product development, account management, and customer service to ensure seamless onboarding and support for new distribution partners 

• Feedback Loop: Collect and relay feedback from distribution partners to internal teams to inform product development and improve overall service offerings 

• CRM Management & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date records of all sales activities, contacts, and account information in the company’s CRM system 

What We're Looking For

• Strong negotiation and closing skills 

• Ability to think strategically and analyze market trends 

• Proficient in CRM software; experience in related industries a plus 

• Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative approach 

• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and driving continuous improvement. 

• Strong understanding of international business practices, cultural nuances, and global markets 

• Familiarity with international logistics and supply chain management
