Overview:

As a Maintenance Supervisor and Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for supervising the maintenance team and overseeing project coordination across our portfolio of apartment communities, multiplexes, and single-family homes. This role combines technical maintenance skills with project management to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Leadership: Manage and lead the maintenance team, delegating tasks and ensuring high-quality work output.
- Project Coordination: Plan, organize, and oversee maintenance and renovation projects, from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Maintenance Oversight: Conduct regular property inspections, identifying and prioritizing maintenance tasks, and implementing preventive maintenance schedules.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to align maintenance projects with organizational goals and ensure efficient interdepartmental coordination.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of work orders, maintenance activities, inventory, and project progress, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, federal regulations and organizational policies.
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Manage vendor and contractor relationships, negotiating terms, scheduling, and overseeing external work on BCACHA properties. Compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Budget Management: Assist in developing and monitoring the maintenance budget, including cost estimations and purchasing materials.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate team responses during after-hours situations as needed. This requires experience with residential maintenance and the ability to step in and assist.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a supervisory role within maintenance, project coordination, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to interpret, understand apply government rules and regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in team motivation and training.
- Proficiency with project management tools and ability to use technology, such as computers and tablets.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Familiarity with REAC/NSPIRE inspections is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
