Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while managing transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members will be essential in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Engage in upselling and cross-selling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Conduct product demos to educate customers on features and benefits.
- Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor, ensuring products are readily available for customers.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide support during busy periods.
- Supervise junior staff as needed, providing guidance on customer service best practices.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, ensuring resolution to maintain satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette when handling inquiries.
- Familiarity with collaboration sales techniques and product demonstrations is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Experience with inventory management and stock organization is beneficial.
