Oversee daily culinary operations under the Executive Chef’s guidance, ensuring high-quality food production, strict HACCP compliance, and well-trained staff. Serve as acting head chef in the Executive Chef’s absence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage production, sanitation, and presentation standards
- Assist with menu development, inventory, and cost controls
- Hire, train, and supervise staff
- Uphold strict HACCP and safety protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- A.O.S. in Culinary Arts or certificate plus 3-5 years’ culinary experience
- 2-5 years’ kitchen management experience
- Large-scale cooking or catering expertise
- Knowledge of trends, cost control, and presentation
- ServSafe Certified
