Are you an experienced Human Resources Manager (HRM) looking for the next step in your career? Bonnell Aluminum is looking for a dynamic leader to join our team. The HRM position is a pivotal and hands-on role, directly supporting a small, dynamic team. As the HR leader, you will be at the center of defining, building and maintaining a positive and productive workplace culture. You will manage employee relations, day-to-day HR operations, and act as the go-to person for all people-related matters. This role requires a strategic thinker that will support and monitor implementation of company initiatives, policies and procedures, and assure compliance and consistency across the plant.

Bonnell Aluminum is North America’s premier manufacturer of custom aluminum extrusions. We manufacture mill finish, anodized, painted and thermally broken aluminum extrusions. Our press size ranges from 1,550 to 5,500-tons.
We produce large diameter extrusions requiring high-quality surface finish up to 16 inches in circle size. Fabricators and distributors use our extruded profiles in various applications: curtain walls, storefronts, light to heavy commercial and institutional windows, walkway covers, interior architectural products, photovoltaic panels, solar collectors, heat sinks for L.E.D. lighting, shower enclosures, hurricane protection products, automotive, light trucks, recreational vehicles, and industrial machinery.
We are headquartered in Newnan, Georgia. We have manufacturing operations in Newnan, Georgia; Carthage, Tennessee; Niles, Michigan; Clearfield, Utah; and Elkhart, Indiana.

What You'll Be Responsible For:
EMPLOYEE SUPPORT
- Ensures continuity across the organization of HR practices and facilitates local HR processes on site.
- Assist employees in navigating through the organization, engaging in intake to find solutions and resources for their problems.
- Guides and coaches’ leadership on how to effectively manage and resolve issues including how to navigate difficult conversations.
- Supports organizational change initiatives ensuring successful team transitions.
- Responsible for the administration, security, confidentiality, and retention of team member records.
- Investigates and follows up on escalated employee relations issues and serves as the liaison to the Division.
- Responsible for the successful onboarding of all new employees and leaders within the plant.
- Sustains a high level of business literacy about assigned client groups’ core function and culture.
- Supports HR Business Partners with talent management, workforce and succession planning, performance planning, and maintaining appropriate data.
- Carries knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, collective bargaining, unions, labor relations, and human resources.
- Maintains the consistent application, implementation and improvement of HR policies, processes, and programs. (i.e. merit and promotion planning, performance management, employee relations, career development, etc.)
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- A positive attitude and understanding that oftentimes, the “little things” can be unnoticed, but it does not mean they are not integral to the organization's success.
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field, and five years or more of related customer service or employee administration experience.
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, DocuSign, HR databases and HRIS systems.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Prior experience with Krono/Ultimate HRIS, as well as Ceridian Payroll.
- A love for people and a desire to see them succeed.
- I have an interest in the HR/People Operations space, and a want to have your hands in a lot of different jars.
