Job Description
Bookkeeper.com is a progressive organization with a staff of highly trained individuals who have many years of experience in their fields. As a member of our team, you must have the ability to effectively work in our fast paced environment while performing a broad spectrum of accounting and tax preparation duties. We currently have a position available for a full-time Payroll Specialist within our company. This person must be experienced, self-motivated and have a “team attitude”. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Process live payrolls and all required tax deposits
· Prepare quarterly payroll tax returns
· Process annual w-2’s
· Provide all documents required based on our client’s needs
· Payroll consulting with clients
· Prepare payroll audit & censuses
· Research and resolve all payroll tax notices
· Registering & Maintaining tax accounts
· Processing of garnishments and other benefit payments
· Maintain current payroll tax legislation
Job Requirements
Requirements for the Payroll Specialist are as follows:
· 4 Year Degree
· Minimum 2 years of payroll experience (preferred)
· Excellent organization and mathematical skills
· High-level of attention to details
· Time management skills
· Great communicator
· Experience with ADP payroll system and QuickBooks (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
