Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping tasks such as recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial statements
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Generate financial reports and analysis to provide insights on the company's financial performance
- Process payroll and ensure accurate calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions
Experience:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience in using accounting software and tools (e.g. Sage50, Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and generate reports
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
- Spanish speaking a plus
