The Junior Docketing Specialist is an entry level role. This position will serve as an integral piece to our firm’s Docketing Department, which is a vital component of our firm. The department is responsible for keeping track of the firm’s critical deadlines. The Docketing Department works behind the scenes as the ultimate quality control group that keeps the firm in good standing with its clients. The good faith base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 (non-exempt). The actual pay will be based on experience and other relevant factors permissible by law. In addition, we offer:

The Junior Docketing Specialist’s primary responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing all incoming correspondence for U.S. and foreign patents;
- docketing and de-docketing pertinent deadlines;
- opening new matters;
- preparing system reports;
- researching and resolving docketing inaccuracies;
- answering questions related to the docket; and
- other duties as assigned
- No previous experience required. We’ll train you in Intellectual Property!
- College degree preferred
- Required to come into the office 1 day per week
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Positive attitude toward client service and support of attorneys
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced office environment during “core” business hours
- Self-starter with commitment to success and personal professional growth
- Willingness to study independently
- Ability to receive and process constructive feedback
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and professional service skills (written and verbal)
