What we need from YOU:
Responsibilities:
· Maintain the landscape, grounds, golf course ponds and Bumper boat pool
· Maintain facility equipment and building
· Perform quarterly, biannually and annually preventative maintenance tasks
· Replace lights throughout the park as needed
· Perform minor structural repairs and restorations
· Fix basic plumbing, HVAC and electrical issues
· Must be able to take and give direction and work as a team
· Maintain supply of tools and machinery
· Attend daily, weekly and monthly manager meetings
· Communicate short- and long-term projects and goals to management team
· Be able to prioritize maintenance items from big projects to daily tasks
· Manage maintenance team (2-5 employees) and prioritize daily projects for them
· Ability to identify maintenance issues and be proactive with repairs
· Work with the General Manager to maintain maintenance budget and monthly expenses
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
· Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions,
and procedure manuals
· Assist the team members with operations in limited situations, and provide excellent guest service
Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years of building and landscaping maintenance experience
· Minimum 2 years of management experience along with organizational skills
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Have a reliable source of transportation and good driving record
Required Skills:
· Be able to lift 50 lbs or greater
· Be physically capable to work while kneeling, bending, reaching, standing, climbing ladders, and walking extended periods of time.
· Be able to work outside in all weather conditions
· Be comfortable on a ladder.
· Experience with a scissor lift
· Know how to use computer programs (word, excel, outlook, etc.)
