Description :

This position is a Lead of the Project Management group, with no direct reports (at this time). The PM Lead will be responsible for developing the PM Working Group as a team, providing centralized leadership, expectations, and clarity. The goal is the unity of the Project Management team, and their continuous improvement towards PM standards, processes, tools, references, etc. This job can be located in any of our offices.

Requirements :

Operational Responsibilities :

• Onboarding new PM hires across Booth offices
• Every-other-week PM Working Group Meetings – content, follow ups, trainings, goals, etc.
• PM Codex Training / Expertise (Includes presentations to Booth Managers who aren’t PMs)
• Standard Operating Procedures- development, maintenance, and enforcement
• PM Summit planning / attendance (main Point of Contact to PrimeLine for Booth Project Management functions)
• Ensuring a level of quality and standard practice in Booth’s project planning and Client relationships, including, but not limited to :
• Meeting practices (preparation, notes, etc.)
• Professional communication internally and externally
• Meeting project deadlines / client needs
• Integrating departments serving Clients in different ways to drive business efficiently and aligning that work with Booth’s strategic goals
• Communication and Collaboration across Groups, particularly supporting Accounting Groups
• Short term key goals :
• Proposals process development
• Scheduling / Backlog softwares / methods
• Balance workloads across PMs who have too much work vs. too little
• Crosstrain PMs from different departments to provide exposure to other practices, career development, and role reinforcement in the case of a leave or a departure
• Focus on Lessons Learned, areas of PM growth at Booth, and steps toward those implementations
• Soft skills development
