Position Summary
This role will assist the Key Bridge Rebuild Project in executing contracts from start to finish for the assigned scope of work. Will be expected to lead discussions advancing the procurement process while vetting discrepancies and issues to ensure materials and services are delivered on schedule, in compliance with the client’s specifications and expectations,
and in alignment with the organization's contracting processes.
Position Requirements
- Prepare/issue Request for Proposals (RFPs) that align with project-specific requirements.
- Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation and history.
- Serve as a liaison between the project team, vendor, and legal to resolve escalated, complex, or disputed contract issues.
Position Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Supply chain experience working with the RFP/Bid process, contract development/negotiation, and execution.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with effective organization and coordination skills. - Ability to:
