Job Summary
The Accounting Analyst supports the day-to-day operations of the accounting area by preparing journal entries, maintaining the accuracy of general ledger accounts, creating accounting reports and supporting management. They will aide with the month-end close process and monitor the requests sent to the Financial Accounting team.

Job Summary

Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Prepares and maintains accounting documents and records in an accurate and timely manner
- Prepares, processes and documents financial transactions with accurate journal entries
- Reconciles and maintains general ledger accounts
- Assists with the accurate and timely completion of the month-end close process
- Compiles financial reports monthly, quarterly, and annually for BSE management
- Assists branch/regional/department/executive managers with questions regarding financial statements and reporting
- Answers and assigns requests received by the Financial Accounting team
- Assists with financial audits and tax returns
- Collaborates with team members and Finance teams with identifying and implementing process improvements
- Assists with special projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or other designate
- Four-year accounting, finance or business administration degree or equivalent work experience, required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar designation is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint), Internet, Email and SAP software preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, reading skills
- Ability to effectively plan and organize
- Excellent customer service skills include being competent, accurate, responsive and engage
