Job Description
As an Instrumentation Technician at Bosch Group, you will be responsible for supporting the installation of instrumentation and repair of all VM/NE-NA vehicles in support of Anti-Lock Brake system variants and Actuation applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of Test Data Acquisition Systems: You will be responsible for installing all test data acquisition systems on various vehicle models.
- Brake Hardware and Controls Installation and Repair: You will install and repair all brake hardware and controls, ensuring seamless operation of the vehicle's braking system.
- Suspension R&R (Shocks, Springs): You will replace suspension components such as shocks and springs, maintaining the vehicle's optimal ride and handling characteristics.
- Wire Harness Build and Diagnosis: You will design, build, and diagnose wire harnesses for various vehicle applications, using electrical diagnostic tools to identify issues.
- Electrical System Knowledge: You must have a comprehensive understanding of vehicle wiring schematics and be proficient in using electrical diagnostic tools.
- CAN Communications and Sensor Issues: You will debug and troubleshoot various sensor and instrumentation issues related to CAN communications.
- Hydraulic Line Fabrication and Vehicle Wheel Alignment: You will fabricate hydraulic lines and perform vehicle wheel alignment, ensuring accurate and precise results.
- Tire Installation and Balancing: You will install and balance tires, guaranteeing safe and optimal vehicle performance.
- Fabrication Skills: You must possess basic fabrication skills, including welding, cutting, and bending, to create custom components.
- Desktop Computer Skills: You should be proficient in using MS Office Suite and other software applications.
- Prototype Vehicle Transportation: You may be required to transport prototype vehicles between various Bosch locations.
