What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customs and CTPAT/OEA coordinator position at Bose Corporation S.A. de C.V.?

Job Description MAIN FUNCTIONS: a. Solving problems with Customs import/ export processes abilities b. Risk based thinking and knowledge on control activities designing and implementations. c. Generates customs documents in compliance with Mx customs regulations for Finish goods. d. Legal knowledge for import/ export relevant regulations. e. Able to have daily interactions with Customs Broker to solve any issue or discrepancy in the clearance / customs process. f. Maintain direct communication with the Mexico Trade Compliance Manger for any deviations or discrepancies detected. g. Elaboration of import and export invoices and review vs. SAP GTS module for imports, exports of all types of materials. h. Implementation of post entry audits based on the monthly reports generated by Mexican Customs regarding entry declaration information (e.g., HTS, product descriptions, Identifiers, NOMS, USMCA etc.) i. To perform on time review and authorization of pedimentos j. Apply required Pedimentos Identifiers at line and header levels. k. Analyze and define which tariff benefit to use depending on the import operations. l. Coordinate information generation and periodic reports creation related with customs, foreign trade, and certifications m. Prepares the reports and presentations of managerial information of its activities and shows it in the periodic meetings of management of results of customs department. n. Daily control of import/export priorities coordination. o. Review and ensure the integration of correct and complete dispatch documents for customs purposes. p. Coordinate with customs broker personnel for import/export operations, documentation, and electronic transmission to customs. q. Administration of customs legal documents. r. Keeps the Customs Manager and supervisors informed about future and emerging risks during the department's activities. s. Ensures compliance with security programs and / or C-TPAT / AEO certifications in Foreign Trade operations, as well as supporting audits to Bose Locations and Carriers. t. Monitor import and export operations and ensure to report issues or potential risks with them directly to the Manager. u. Follow the instructions contained in the Internal Work Regulation concerning safety, care of equipment, materials, facilities, and other resources owned by the company. v. Expenses validation experience to ensure that payments to Customs Brokers is correct according to our operations. w. To implement and manage monthly KPI’s. x. NOMs administration for customs compliance purposes. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: a. Bachelor of Foreign Trade and Customs, international business or related b. 5 years of Experience in import - export customs procedures (Mexican and American Customs) desirable c. Knowledge and handling of export pedimentos (annex 24, 22 & appendix 8) US Entries, e-Manifest, COVE, BOLs, tariff classification; domain of the CTPAT & OEA program, IMMEX, PROSEC. d. Organized, Proactive e. Skills for work under pressure and assertive communication f. Focus on achievement of objectives g. Schedule availability h. Risk based thinking i. Conversational and written English 90% j.
