Financial Operations Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Boswell Engineering. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. About the Job:
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations during the monthly close process.
- Assist with generating monthly accounts receivable reports to ensure accurate tracking of receivables.
- Prepare schedules and analyses required for quarterly reviews and year-end financial and FAR audits.
- Provide assistance with payroll processing tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax requirements.
- Use financial software and Excel for data analysis and generating reports.
- Assist with implementing upgrades to financial software systems.
- Identify areas for efficiency improvements in accounting processes and help establish new accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- At least 3 years in a general accounting role or similar.
- Strong understanding of accounting regulations and procedures.
- Experience with financial systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and related tax compliance.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
