Boulder City Hospital is seeking a full time Scheduler/Insurance Verifier for our Radiology Department
$16-22 Per Hour!
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Under the general direction of the Radiology Manager this position will coordinate scheduling for all modalities of radiology, obtaining demographic information, verifying patient insurance and obtaining prior authorization, ensuring that all required documentation is received to complete the scheduling and authorization notification. This role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently. This position will be the potential first contact a patient may have with Boulder City Hospital and must ensure good first impressions and a positive customer experience. Other scheduling locations may be added, as this position grows.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of one experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Exposure to registration, patient demographic, insurance preferred.
- Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel)
