Bowdon Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated and organized Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our vibrant, multi-doctor veterinary practice. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily hospital operations, ensuring efficiency, excellent client service, and a positive team culture
Partner with veterinarians and team leads to manage schedules, workflows, and staffing needs
Monitor and analyze KPIs, including revenue, client satisfaction, and staff productivity
Manage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and cost control
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and veterinary regulations
Support HR functions: recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee engagement
Lead regular team meetings and foster clear communication across the hospital
Collaborate on marketing and community outreach efforts
Utilize practice management software (e.g., Cornerstone, AVImark, or similar) to track operations and reporting
Qualifications
2 years of veterinary management or equivalent leadership experience in a medical/clinical setting
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Proficiency in practice management systems and basic accounting/reporting
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Passion for veterinary medicine and supporting a healthy, happy clinic culture
CVPM certification a plus (not required)
