Boatyard / Marina Crew Member

• Assist incoming and outgoing boaters, pump fuel and operate sewage pump-out, if needed.
• Ensure prompt services to patrons.
• Bottom painting, pressure washing, hauling/launching vessels, fueling vessels, etc.
• Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Alteration of work days at the Manager’s discretion.
• Crew will rotate weekends during summer season. Will have 2 days off week prior or after weekend worked
• OT will be mandatory during haul/launch seasons
• Additional hours will be required if necessary to accomplish all tasks in a timely manner.
• This is a non- exempt status position. Overtime is paid for excess of 40 hrs. worked/week.
• Assume any other duties as deemed necessary by the Marina Manager or Asst. Manager.
• Inform Boatyard Lead of supplies needed for Marina, Fuel Dock or Boatyard Operations in a timely manner.
• Repair and maintain all Marina equipment.
• Police grounds daily for trash removal.
• Abide by duties spreadsheet by time clock.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland Driver’s License.
• Ability and desire to deal with the public.
• Reasonable knowledge of safe operation of watercraft and heavy equipment.
• Mechanical, electrical and carpentry knowledge or ability desirable. ( A plus but not required )
• Employee must reside within 30 miles from the Marina. Must have reliable transportation.
• Any and all other work as requested to do by the Marina Manager or his/her designee.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
