Bowman Law is hiring an administrative assistant to join our busy personal injury law firm.
Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls;
- Manage the new client pre-intake process;
- Manage mail, faxes, hand deliveries, and emails;
- Order office supplies;
- Organize and update case files;
- Maintain attorney/ paralegal calendars;
- Pay invoices and track expenses;
- Review correspondence and determines appropriate actions;
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certification):
- At least 2 years of legal secretarial or administrative experience or training;
- Customer service experience;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Extensive experience working with Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent data entry skills;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure;
- Ability to work independently;
- Excellent judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Interest in working in a fast-paced environment
Environment
- Professional office atmosphere. Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting or standing for prolonged periods. Position may require occasional off-hour meetings and events. Salary
- Bowman Law takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance.
