Responsible To - Assistant Camp Director
Responsible For - Volunteer Commissioners
Job Summary - The commissioner is primarily responsible for providing customer service and camper care, including meeting the needs of youth and adult campers, coordinating adult leadership, and providing troop recognition.

- Week 6 : 7 / 27 / 25-8 / 2 / 25 (Dependent program finalization)
Wage - $516.00-584.00 per week after R&B of $45.00 / week
Key Responsibilities :
Provide exceptional customer service to all campersOversee recognition for troops, patrols, and campersOversee and coordinate volunteer commissioners, including pre-camp communicationFacilitate pre-camp communication with troop leadershipOrganize and facilitate in-camp adult training and programmingAssist with the check-in process, including assigning and overseeing campsite guidesInspect campsitesEnsure campsite needs are metCarry out any other duties as assigned by the Assistant Camp DirectorPhysical Demands :

21 years of age or olderCustomer Service experiencePositive attitude and willingness to work hours without a set scheduleSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyObtain NCS Camp Director or Program Director or certification and / or be approved by the Council CommissionerAvailable to work all summerAbility to live on site during the summer season working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as program scheduling requires.Have or be willing to obtain membership in Scouting AmericaHave or be willing to obtain Live Scan background check.All camp staff must have a completed annual physical done by a medical provider prior to the start of the summer camp seasonSummer camp experience preferredBenefits :

This is a seasonal position with the possibility of renewal based on program success.Work involves significant outdoor activity and exposure to varying weather conditions.Working in a camp environment includes providing customer service, solving problems, and cooperation with others, regardless of your title.
