Position Overview
The front desk receptionist is responsible for providing an optimal guest experience through greeting visitors and clients, answering phones, and additional administrative responsibilities assigned by the Branch Director. Hours will be Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-11:00 AM during the school year and 6:45 AM-9:45 AM during the summer.
Essential Job Functions
- Greet and direct all visitors politely and professionally, including but not limited to caregivers, youth, deliveries, counseling appointments, board members, community partners, and donations.
- Answer telephones, provide general information and refer callers to other staff or voicemail.
- Assist with building rentals.
- Greet and check-in members during non-school days and summer programs.
- Interact with and assist youth as needed.
- Data entry for program tracking and incident/behavior forms.
- Maintain accurate files and records.
- Assist with maintaining a tidy and organized front desk area.
- Collect membership fees.
- Work on special projects as directed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and departments to align goals and strategies and to foster a culture of cooperation and teamwork.
- Engage in continuous learning and contribute to the effective implementation of continuous improvement processes.
- Support the ethical use of data to make decisions in a timely and informed manner.
- Represent the organization to the community in a way that enhances the organization’s profile, builds its reputation, supports its strategic priorities, and advances its mission.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The front desk receptionist requires a majority combination of the following:
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent, or Associate’s Degree preferred
- 1-2 years reception or front office experience.
- Demonstrated record of strong customer service skills.

Working Conditions
Work will primarily occur in a climate-controlled environment with minimal potential for safety or health hazards. This position may include flexible working arrangements, such as remote work and compressed workweeks, subject to supervisory approval. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands include:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
