What are the responsibilities and job description for the 21st CCLC Site Supplemental Program Compliance Officer position at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Golden Triangle?
Primary Function:
The 21 CCLC Site Supplemental Program Compliance Officer supports the internal operations of BGCGT. You will ensure that BGCGT 21 CCLC Supplemental team members have the resources they need to meet grant requirements and run programs effectively. This position also provides general support services to the Executive Director as assigned. The 21 CCLC Site Supplemental Program Compliance Officer reports directly to the 21 CCLC Supplemental Project Director of BGCGT. Responsible for ensuring that all 21 CCLC Supplemental data is inputted into the MCAPS systems and verifying that all data is in MTS is accurate. Responsible for observing and documenting the complete delivery of a broad range of pre-teen and teen programs at BGCGT Units, including Education and Career Development, Character and Leadership Development, Health & Life Skills, Sports, Fitness and Recreation, and The Arts. Collaborate with Club Directors to provide program delivery, supervision and training of staff working directly with pre-teens and teens, community relations and membership administration. Direct and manages data collection. Analyzes data and creates data reports. Works collaboratively to support program evaluation initiatives.
Key Roles (Essential Job Responsibilities):
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
2. Conduct regular internal audits to identify areas of non-compliance and develop corrective action plans for 21 CCLC programs and events.
3. Stay up to date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact on the organization's operations and communicate these changes to relevant staff members.
4. Provide guidance and training staff members on compliance-related matters, including ethics, conflict of interest, and data privacy.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's compliance program, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
7. Investigate and respond to reports of potential compliance violations, ensuring that appropriate actions are taken to address any issues.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities, including audits, investigations, and training sessions.
9. Serve as the primary point of contact for external regulatory agencies and auditors, coordinating and facilitating audits and inspections.
10. Stay informed about industry’s best practices and emerging trends in compliance, sharing knowledge and insights with the organization.
11. Oversee and monitor operations and implementation of program activities at each 21 CCLC site
12. Keep the 21 CCLC Supplemental Project Director abreast of any concerns or needs at each 21 CCLC site

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
