What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard Short-Term Worker position at Bozeman, City of (MT)?
Summer is almost here and the City of Bozeman is now recruiting for Short-Term Lifeguards! Ensure patron safety at the City of Bozeman’s aquatic facilities and/or provide swimming instruction for the summer.
If you are not already Lifeguard/First Aid and CPR/AED certified by the City of Bozeman, you must attend ONE of the following courses:
- May 30th - June 1st
- June 12th - 14th
Mark your calendars! Mandatory All-Staff training will take place Monday, June 16th through Wednesday June 18th.
Bargaining Unit: Not Represented
Fair Labor Standards Act Status: Non-Exempt
Length of Season: May 30th OR June 12th through August 24th
Assignment Details: Not to exceed 90 working days or 520 hours, whichever comes first
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) and Part-time (20 hours/week) positions available
APPLICATION TIMELINE:
- Interviews will be held the week of March 24th
- The position will begin working April 28th at the earliest
*NOTE: you will be scheduled for standard American Red Cross swim test at the time of the interview.
- Must be of legal age to perform the duties of the position;
- Some experience is desired, but not required.
