Summer is almost here and the City of Bozeman is now recruiting for Short-Term Lifeguards! Ensure patron safety at the City of Bozeman’s aquatic facilities and/or provide swimming instruction for the summer. If you are not already Lifeguard/First Aid and CPR/AED certified by the City of Bozeman, you must attend ONE of the following courses: May 30th - June 1stJune 12th - 14thMark your calendars! Mandatory All-Staff training will take place Monday, June 16th through Wednesday June 18th.Bargaining Unit: Not RepresentedFair Labor Standards Act Status: Non-ExemptLength of Season: May 30th OR June 12th through August 24thAssignment Details: Not to exceed 90 working days or 520 hours, whichever comes firstSchedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) and Part-time (20 hours/week) positions availableAPPLICATION TIMELINE: Interviews will be held the week of March 24thThe position will begin working April 28th at the earliest*NOTE: you will be scheduled for standard American Red Cross swim test at the time of the interview.
