About the Job
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Building Official to join our team at BPR Consulting Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing building department operations for an assigned client agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage building department operations for an assigned client agency.
- Consult with stakeholders on construction and building code issues.
- Plan review of minor projects for residential and commercial building, alterations, remodels, and additions.
- Perform field inspections on all phases of residential and commercial construction.
Requirements:
- Five (5) plus years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of plan review and construction processes.
- Experience in building code interpretation and application.
- Good driving record.
Certifications:
- ICC Certified Building Official certification.
- ICC Inspector certifications preferred.
- ICC Plan Review certifications preferred.
