Summary

Brabner and Hollon, Inc is seeking to hire an experienced I n-House Technical Sales Representative . This is a sales position that requires knowledge of 'builders hardware' along with excellent customer service skills. This individual will be responsible for representing the company in a professional manner, selling solutions, and troubleshooting client issues. The position requires computer proficiency and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment while preparing client solutions. Please reach out, if you are personable, detail-oriented, organized and work well with deadlines. Knowledge of Division 8 (doors, frames, and hardware) is required.

Essential Functions

  • Represent the company in a professional manner with good customer service, verbal communication and written skills.
  • Interpret specifications and blueprints. Enter Takeoff into Comsense. Negotiate with manufacturers', detail and machine orders.
  • Manage and meet client's delivery expectations. Go to jobsites and ensure quality and installation are correct.
  • Maintain and manage backlog while servicing client.
  • Maintain, manage backlog while exceeding company expectations for volume and margin balance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge of door hardware and two years of experience selling / project managing in the door & hardware industry OR 3 years of related technical sales experience. Construction and / or building supply sales.
  • Good computer skills; preferably with Comsense Advantage / Enterprise and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Office, Excel, Teams). Bluebeam.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Detail oriented team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check to include MVR and drug test.
  • Must have High School Diploma, College Degree Preferred
  • Must be able to lift over 70 lbs

  • General knowledge of warehouse manufacturing.
  • Must be a self-starter that is able to work as a team and at times independently.
  • Must be able to follow directions and be flexible in daily job assignments.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, completing multiple duties with accuracy, shifting from one to another with    frequent interruptions and competing deadlines.
  • Exercise sound judgment, work independently and prioritize with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of proper safety practices when handling products, tools and power equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively read and use a tape measure.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to report to work on time.
