You will be responsible for answering phones, greeting clients, transcription, and assisting with a variety of legal administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Microsoft Word Skills: Create, edit, and format legal documents, including pleadings, and correspondence. Ensure documents are accurate, properly formatted, and compliant with legal standards.
- Answering Phones: Manage incoming calls, provide information, transfer calls to appropriate personnel, and take messages when necessary. Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Greeting Clients: Welcome clients to the office in a courteous and professional manner. Ensure a comfortable and positive experience from arrival to departure.
- Transcription: Accurately transcribe audio recordings and legal dictations. Review and edit transcriptions for clarity, grammar, and legal terminology.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to attorneys and other legal staff
- Client Interaction: Assist with client inquiries, direct them to the appropriate department, and provide updates on case status when needed.
- Document Management: Organize and maintain case files, documents, and legal records in both physical and electronic formats.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other administrative tasks as assigned by attorneys or supervisors.
