Warehouse Supervisor
Warehouse Supervisors are a vital part of the BradyPLUS Team by overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, direct and coordinate activities of warehouse employees, and ensure the proper product is being delivered to customers.
Requirements :
- High school diploma, College Degree preferred
- 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience in warehouse / distribution preferred
- Ability to use equipment required
- Organizational skills preferred
- Basic Computer Skills in Word, Excel and WMS Programs preferred
- 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license-Class A or B preferred, not required
- Clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment drug and background check
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for warehouse inventory control for the shift and continually seeks out improvements or best practices.
- Responsible for routing for the next day's delivery tickets.
- Determines staffing levels and assign workload.
- Responsible for ensuring shift is pulling and loading items for the next day delivery.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee's performance to Warehouse Manager.
- Responsible for sanitation and physical condition of warehouse, material handling equipment and rolling stock for the shift.
- Responsible for the safety of employees and visitors during the night shift. Directs investigations of all accidents and recommends corrective action.
Follows up to ensure that appropriate corrective action is taken.
- Ensures compliance with all State, Federal, and Industry related administrative policies and procedures, safety rules as well as Brady policies / procedures.
