What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Specialist position at Brand Street Properties?
Greenwich, Connecticut-based Real Estate development and management company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to be a part of our accounting team. Working closely with the other members of the accounting team, lease administration, tenants and property ownership, this person will manage the accounts receivable process for a portfolio of income-producing commercial properties.
Responsibilities include:
• Verify and enter all tenant deposits
• Maintain tenant collections ledgers
• Work closely with lease administration team on any collections issues
• Maintain and organize any A/R records
• Set up Tenants for COI compliance in 3rd party software
• Other duties as assigned
We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications:
• Self-starter with strong ability to organize and prioritize
• Detail-oriented, proactive team player who can also work independently
• Can multi-task and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word required)
• Experience with accounting or bookkeeping software (MRI preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to maintain internal and external relationships
