Claims Administrative Assistant
Job Type : Full Time
A prominent law firm based in Bergen County, NJ, is seeking an experienced Claims Administrative Assistant to join our Accounts Opening team and contribute to the growth and success of our rapidly expanding practice.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 years' experience in Personal Injury and will be an experienced, diligent, detail-oriented Administrator. We seek an individual who has strong communication skills, both verbal and written, who is comfortable working in a multitasking, hands-on, challenging, fast paced environment. We are looking for people that can facilitate a high volume of detail-oriented work.
Responsibilities :
- Obtaining Police reports from municipalities and various states (online or fax).
- Research and confirm Insurance carriers and policies.
- Confirm Plaintiff / Defendant coverage.
- In automobile cases - open Personal Injury Protection and Bodily Injury claims.
- In Premise cases - determine ownership of property and prepare letters to defendant.
- Prepare and send required documents to appropriate individuals.
- Complete tasks in designated time frame.
- Update and maintain client database.
Qualifications :
Compensation Range : 40,000-$50,000 USD
Benefits : Full Time Employees and Part Time Employees over 30 hours per week
