Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards before they are released to the market. As a Quality Engineer, you will work closely with our production team to identify and resolve any quality issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead preventative action activities.
- Ensuring compliance with standards.
- Identifying issues and recommending solutions.
- Creating quality documentation.
- Designing quality standards.
- Inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products.
- Developing quality control systems.
- Determining corrective actions.
- Collaborating with teams to implement improvements.
- Responding to day-to-day design, production, and customer quality issues related to the production line.
- Resolving production problems associated with process errors, non-conforming parts, and design problems.
- Assisting with the application and monitoring of established inspection procedures and methods. Compiling, tabulating and summarizing data for analysis and preparing and offering constructive input relative to variables and deviations from prescribed standards of quality.
- Reviewing manufacturing instructions for completeness, correctness, and comprehension by assembly personnel.
- Assisting in ensuring that quality assurance specifications are met by engineering, manufacturing, and other involved functions.
- Data Analysis/Troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality control role
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Manual dexterity to handle small components and operate equipment.
