Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant experience. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards.
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry services as required.
- Maintain cleanliness in storage areas and ensure proper handling of cleaning supplies.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality while interacting with guests.
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning preferred.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices and floor care techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance guest interactions.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
