The Communications Director will lead meaningful communications work with clients in our life sciences sector. Responsibilities will include developing and executing strategies tailored to clients and their goals while managing project plans and budgets. The Director will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, guide teams as needed, and work closely with firm management to ensure successful project execution.
The ideal candidate for this role has 6-8 years of communications experience at a public affairs agency, a pharmaceutical company, a healthcare system, or a patient advocacy organization. Candidates considered will have strong writing skills, with the ability to communicate messages internally and externally, in formats ranging from social media posts to long-form emails or stories to slide decks and presentations.
This candidate has the ability to think outside of the box quickly and work in creative ways to achieve desired client outcomes. This person possesses curiosity, and professional and personal maturity, with exceptional interpersonal skills to develop and nurture relationships with a variety of client stakeholders. This role requires the ability to shift smoothly as priorities and demands change. The person in the role needs to be flexible, versatile, and even-keeled. They will be able to serve as a dynamic thought partner and innovative leader, based on their broad understanding of the life sciences industry and the client’s business.
