Job Summary

The Specialist in Portfolio Analytics plays a role in creating the next generation of data-driven actionable insights for portfolio management strategies in support of the General Manager organization and Brand Partners. These insights are delivered through the application of applied research methodologies utilizing the understanding of retail, marketing, and credit profitability. The role also entails analyzing a wealth of data pertaining to customer and retailer interactions, cardholder behavior, earning and redeeming rewards points, and profitability metrics across various acquisition channels and purchasing methods (e.g., mobile wallet vs. physical card), as well as digital interactions (e.g., mobile, web).

Essential Job Functions

• Extract data from a variety of customized sources, using various tools. Effectively navigate, interpret, and derive logical meaning from the data. Design, create, evaluate, optimize and deliver the results/recommendations. Share insights with internal partners (GM teams, Marketing, Operations, Finance) and third parties (Brand Partners, Vendors) to inform business decisions. - (50%)
• Point of contact and regularly relied upon by the organization and our brand partners, to provide advice leading to decisions and/or recommendations in relation to potential product and marketing offerings, value propositions, customer-facing capabilities, and potential partnerships. Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships to address any concerns. - (10%)
• Partners with and leverages other analytics CoEs. Works as a liaison between business and analytics professionals to ensure effective application of analytics to drive appropriate actions. Aligns analytics with business objectives, translating complex data into actionable insights, and maintaining a cohesive, data-informed approach across the business. - (10%)
• Assist in the development of project requirements, analytic plans, timelines, and other materials crucial for managing deliverables. Engage in strategic projects to identify enhancements to the Portfolio Analytics processes and offerings that will have a positive impact on the ability to deliver relevant marketing and create enduring loyalty. Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Business, or similar.
• 5 years experience in data analytics, including customer, credit, risk, financial, marketing analytics.

Salary Range (unless Otherwise Noted Below)

$87,900.00 - $159,200.00

Full Salary Range For Position

California: $101,000.00 - $198,900.00

Colorado: $87,900.00 - $167,100.00

New York: $96,600.00 - $198,900.00

Washington: $92,200.00 - $183,000.00

Maryland: $92,200.00 - $175,100.00

Washington DC: $101,000.00 - $183,000.00

Illinois: $87,900.00 - $175,100.00

New Jersey: $101,000.00 - $183,000.00

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.

Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.

All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (“PSST”) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.

Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
