The Tennis Shop Clerk works at a variety of BREC tennis centers assisting in the daily operations to include making court reservations, and monitoring site activities, selling resale items, registering for programs, and court and center maintenance.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Area of Study (major) Required: Specific training and expertise in tennis skills & techniques and retail. Certification(s) Required: CPR, AED and first aid within 6 months License(s) Required: Valid LA driver's license Years Relevant Work Experience: 6 months' experience as a cashier or in a customer service role Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to document court reservations and monitor site activitiesBasic math skillsMust be computer literate and operate software programsAbility to answer phones and provide the appropriate level of customer service necessaryAbility to make minor decisions in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulationsPublic relations skills to interact with diverse client populationAbility to operate cash register and take payments

Schedule varies; no more than 29 hours per week. Evenings and weekends maybe are required. Some sites close at 10:30pmResumes will not be accepted in lieu of a completed application.
