Plant Controller
Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled financial professional to manage and oversee the financial operations at a key manufacturing plant. This position will drive accurate reporting, financial planning, and operational decision-making in line with corporate and GAAP standards. You will be responsible for the complete financial oversight of the plant’s activities, influencing key business decisions, and guiding leadership on optimizing performance. As the leader in this role, you’ll also be a trusted advisor to plant leadership and a key contributor to the business unit’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and analysis of key financial documents, including Profit & Loss (P&L), cost statements, and budget forecasts
- Own financial forecasting processes, including quarterly and annual plans, while managing capital and working capital
- Perform in-depth analysis of operational financial results to identify performance drivers, provide recommendations, and support the implementation of performance improvements
- Oversee balance sheet management, particularly around inventory and account reconciliation processes
- Influence strategic decisions through the analysis of profitability trends, customer performance, and cost efficiency
- Ensure financial integrity by upholding internal controls, SOX compliance, and adherence to company policies
- Develop and lead the training of plant leadership in financial literacy and systems for better decision-making and controllership
- Foster a high-performance environment with an emphasis on safety, organizational effectiveness, and talent development

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing finance roles
