Job Description
This position provides high level administrative support to one or more Portfolio Managers in managing the over-all operations of a specifically assigned group of properties, this position also provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers by utilizing industry knowledge, effective communication skills, and technology expertise.

This position provides high level administrative support to one or more Portfolio Managers in managing the over-all operations of a specifically assigned group of properties, this position also provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers by utilizing industry knowledge, effective communication skills, and technology expertise.
Essential Duties
- Provide high-level administrative support to Portfolio Manager(s) by responding to telephone calls, emails, etc.
- Assist Portfolio Manager(s) by interacting with vendors and organizations who are engaged in business with the company
- Generate monthly reports as needed by the Portfolio Manager(s)
- Assist Community Managers with issue resolution and questions as needed
- Second line on intervention for resident phone calls if Community Manager cannot resolve the issue
- Accumulate information and prepare move out letters (VIR process)
- Review all new and renewed leases prepared by Community Managers and verify for accuracy
- Review Yardi Dashboard and Daily Activity Log with Community Managers
- Maintain corporate resident files
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of resident and property correspondence
- Process resident/apartment Change of Status items and update Yardi as needed
- Generate evictions for sites
- Site/Attorney contact for all eviction and collection-related matters
- Notify appropriate personnel of Section 8 inspection results and provide housing assistance updates
- Review all denied applicants for Fair Credit Reporting Act compliance
- Verify and follow-up on referral payments to residents
- Process bonuses for site
- May train site personnel in correct paperwork completion procedures
- Assist in site inspections, site file audit, and budget preparation
- Assist with Investor reporting
- Assist in the refinance process
- Verify variance reports
- Other duties may be assigned as required
- Must be depended upon to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner and be conscientious about assignments
- Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with managers, co-workers, and individuals inside and outside the company
- Must work effectively and relate well with others including managers, co-workers, and individuals inside and outside of the company
- Must exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships
- Must comply with all policies and procedures as outlined in the BRG Employee Handbook and if applicable, the BRG Operations manual
- Must be available for weekend, holiday, and evening hours if necessary
- Must be willing to be assigned to other BRG managed communities as needed
