Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Assist with medical procedures including spinal taps and tube feeding.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using ICD-10 coding and electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth.
- Support patients with behavioral health needs by providing compassionate care and support.
- Participate in sterile processing of medical instruments to ensure a safe environment.
- Educate patients and families on family planning options and health management strategies.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy and patient care best practices.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding is a plus.
- Experience with sterile processing techniques is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
