Role Description
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service. You should be comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication skills and the ability to engage with clients in a professional and empathetic manner. Previous experience in a law firm or client service role is a plus. As an Intake Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, playing a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless experience and contributing to the firm’s continued success and growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in a client-facing role: 1-3 years of experience in customer service, legal assistant, or client intake position.
- Strong phone etiquette: Comfort and professionalism in handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, including initial consultations with clients.
- Customer service-oriented mindset: Professional and approachable when interacting with potential clients, setting the tone for their experience with the firm.
- Client conversion skills: Ability to effectively screen potential clients, qualify leads, and help convert them into paying clients.
- Efficient follow-up skills: Keeping track of prospective client inquiries, following up in a timely manner, and ensuring intakes are moved forward.
- Experience in the legal industry: Previous experience in a law firm or a client-facing position, particularly in legal intake, administration, or client relations, is highly desirable
- Familiarity with legal terminology: Understanding of basic legal terms and processes.
- Attention to detail: Accurately document client information and ensure seamless data entry for case preparation.
- Ability to work under pressure: Managing high volumes of calls, emails, or forms during busy periods while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
- Team player: Ability to collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other support staff to ensure the smooth flow of client intake and case assignments.
